Coverage & history
Which commodities and markets are included?
Markets covers power, natural gas, coal, oil, CO2, Guarantees of Origin (GoO) and foreign exchange (FX) rates for currency conversion.
Coverage is Europe-focused. We share the exact market/instrument list in the demo and offer.
Do you cover spot and forward prices?
Yes, we cover both spot and forward prices for all price zones available.
How much price history do we get?
The packages include the complete timeseries of all products of the respective price category. The available history length depends on the specific market/instrument.
Data quality & updates
How often is the data updated?
Prices are updated frequently (typically up to ~15 minutes, depending on market/feed). Daily settlement prices are also shown, and refreshed every trading day.
Where does the data come from? And what does “last close” mean?
Prices come from the relevant exchanges/data sources.
“Last close” refers to the settlement/close price of the most recent trading day for that instrument.
How do you handle data reliability (delays, corrections, outages)?

Working with Markets
Can we build and save our own views (watchlists and comparisons)?
Yes. You can define favourites and save views - either on a contract level or by category - so teams can open their standard market set quickly.
What can we do in the charts?
Do you also support price forecasts (short- and long-term)?

Integration & onboarding
Can we export or integrate the data (API)?
Yes. You can export data for reporting (e.g., Excel/PowerQuery workflows). API access is available for integration into BI or internal tools. Please contact Sales for more information.
What does the rollout look like (demo, trial, onboarding, support)?
We typically start with a short demo focused on your markets and instruments. A short trial period can be offered on request. After contracting Markets most customers only need the documentation and a brief onboarding for getting started. Our Customer Success team supports setup questions.
